Last night, on October 17th, 2023, we held our second post-pandemic meetup at West Chester University!
Serge covered What’s New, then Brett Gross discussed many of the new macOS Sonoma, iOS 17, and iPadOS 17 features that are relevant to our work as Apple device administrators (and we might have missed).
Our thanks to WCU and Will McGrory for providing the venue, food, and refreshments! Also, thanks to Brett Gross and Kelly Dunaway from Apple for an excellent presentation!
It was great to see everyone in person again, and we’re looking forward to doing another one like this soon!
Hey everyone!
We’re changing things up this month. Instead of a Zoom meetup, West Chester University has generously offered to host an in-person meetup! Tremendous thanks to Will McGrory for making this happen!
Brett Gross (Senior Systems Engineer at Apple) has graciously agreed to present. There will be no livestream or recording.
Please see the Eventbrite page for exact details, including room location and parking. See you there!
We held our last summer meetup on August 22nd, 2023. John covered What’s New, and Trevor Sysock from Second Son Consulting joined us to talk about Baseline (here are his slides)! Thank you to Trevor, as well as everyone that attended!
Hey everyone! Please join us on Tuesday, August 22nd for our next meetup! We’ll be meeting over Zoom this month to discuss the usual – What’s New, conferences, etc.
This month, we’ll also be joined by Trevor Sysock from Second Son Consulting! Trevor will talk about Baseline, an open source bootstrapping solution.
See you there! 😄
I completely forgot to post – our May meetup at Yards was a huge success! We were blown away by the number of people that came out, including a couple who made long trips from outside of the Philly area just to be here. Thank you! We had a blast, and we’ll definitely be doing this again soon.
Huge thanks to Adam @ Jamf for footing a large portion of the bill, as well as holding a raffle for AirTags and MagSafe chargers!
For July, we opted not to do another in-person meetup, as many of us were already attending PSU MacAdmins. It was great to both old and new faces at the conference! We took both “Philly” and “Springboard alumni” photos:
Come hang out with us at the next one! Stay tuned here and the #philly channel on the Mac Admins Slack!
Thanks for joining us for our June 2023 virtual meetup! John covered What’s New, and we had an open discussion. Please see the slides and video if you missed it!
We’re going to skip our in-person meetup for July in favor of PSU MacAdmins. If you’re attending the conference, look for us and say hello! We’ll have GPMA stickers, buttons, magnets, etc. Otherwise, see you at the next virtual meetup in August!
Hey everyone –
We’ll be doing a June meetup over Zoom next week! Please join us to talk about WWDC and all of the new stuff that Apple announced.
See you then!
Almost forgot – on April 20th, 2023, we held our April online meetup. John talked about What’s New, and we held an open discussion (some of which was recorded).
In case you didn’t see it earlier today, we’re hosting our first in-person meetup since before the pandemic! Please RSVP and join us at Yards Brewing Company in a couple of weeks!
And now, for the moment we’ve all be waiting for…our first in-person meetup since February 2020!
Please join us at Yards on May 17th! As with the social meetups we held before the pandemic, there is no agenda – we’ll all just be hanging out and enjoying the food/drinks. Come talk shop with your local Mac nerds!
If you’re coming from outside of the city, Yards has a parking lot – and the Target next door has an even bigger one. Hope to see you there!
